I have coached
youth soccer for two years now.
Honestly, I LOVE it! It is so
much fun working with the kids and watching them and their skill level grow.
Although I
have always checked off the box stating I would be willing to coach youth
baseball, I never received a phone call until now! So now Dan and I are coaching youth
baseball. We are coaches for the coach-pitch league of 1st and 2nd graders.
Honestly, he
is less than thrilled about the whole deal.
We are in the mist of remodeling our home. He is one of those people who is always thinking
about what he could be doing to our house when away from home.
All I had to
do was remind him about this conversation and he was suddenly on-board. Gotta love men:
Me: I was asked to coach youth soccer. Want to help?
Dan: Soccer?
I don’t know. It would be
different if it were baseball. I’d love
that.
